'Spero' is Latin for "HOPE".
I named our company this because at one time I had no hope because of
the huge debt load I was carrying. Then as I put into practice the methods
Dave teaches I began to have hope once again for a bright future. After
coaching hundreds of others and helping them find hope for tomorrow I
decided to name our company HOPE. Since so many other companies have that
name it seemed obvious that we needed a unique name that still identified
what we do. So I researched the word hope in several languages and found
SPERO in Latin was a perfect fit for the name I was looking for and no
body else was using that word for Financial Coaching.
So that is exactly what we at The Spero Group do, we give people Hope.
I do most of the coaching personally except in the case where we have
too many clients for me to work with.
We counsel exactly the same way Dave Ramsey does...after all we have
been trained personally by Dave Ramsey and Russ Carroll.
My qualifications as a financial counselor are based on several areas
of experience and excellent training by the best there is in the business.
After 30 years of marriage, 15 years of Pastoral Counseling and 10
years of Financial Counseling, I have found that most marriage crises issues are
about money or a lack of communication about money.
I have dealt with Spiritual issues, marriage issues, family issues,
financial issues, life and death issues and divorce issues. I have heard
it all.
I have counseled countless numbers of people over the years. So I can safely say that my financial coaching &
pastoral coaching is based on personal life experiences,
the countless numbers of people I have counseled and coached, my many
years of ministry experiences and Dave Ramsey's excellent and intensive counselor
training!
